Driving sustainability
Recycling End-of-Life Tires (or “ELTs”) has long been a challenge from an economic, technological and environmental perspective. In Europe alone it is about 3 million tons of ELT per year. The good news is that all of the components of an ELT can be reused. The bad news is that the application of ELTs main component rubber currently is limited.
ARP upgrades the current state-of-the-art Micronized Rubber Powder (MRP) using a (patent pending) two-stage surface chemical treatment process to convert it to FMRP (Functionalised Micronized Rubber Powder) under the product label ARP100.
